The Playstation 3 is Sony's third home console. Their online service, Playstation Network is a free online service equivalent to Xbox's Xbox Live.
Unlike the Xbox nor Wii, PS3 charges their wireless controller via USB connected to the PS3's slots.

How it's different to the Wii and Xbox 360.
- PSN users have free online, forever.
Wii users have free online, but not playing games with friends online. The PS3's rival, Xbox 360 has everything online that the PS3 has, but it isn't free like PS3.
- There are no batteries requried to charge the controllers. It's free, cause the USB charges the controller
On the Wii, you have to use batteries, alot. The Wii controllers and the Wii Fit. And it runs out every 3 days or so.
On the Xbox 360, the controllers are sensitive(PS3=Sixais, Wii=Motion) unlike Wii and PS3, so it turns off everytime you put it down hard. And you will spend alot on batteries if you like wireless.
